Qualified Nursery Practitioner

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, welcoming, and well-established early years setting in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities that support all areas of development

• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals

• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)

• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
