Chuggers Day Nursery and Preschool is a family run setting in Taunton, that provides exceptional standards of childcare for children aged 3 months to 11 years. Here at Chuggers we aim to provide an environment that will encourage children to develop into happy and confident individuals. We foster our child\''s natural curiosity, sense of awe and wonder, enthusiasm to learn, and encourage the children to explore and investigate a range of resources and materials using all of their senses. We work closely with our sister setting, Choo Choos Day Nursery, to share good practice and support children\''s learning and development. We offer an outstanding and nurturing experience in a beautiful, warm and traditional environment. The nursery offers great facilities and promotes outdoor learning.Responsibilities

The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to ensure all children attending Chuggers Day Nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects of the Development Matters curriculum.Qualifications and Skills

Passionate about supporting the development of children between the ages of 3 months and 11 yearsExperienced with children and have a basic understanding of the EYFSEnthusiastic and willing to go above and beyondHardworking and a team playerCreative and plan original and fun activities for the childrenAble to build a long lasting, trusting relationship with parents, staff and childrenHoping to progress within the nursery settingAll staff are offered opportunities for continued professional development.
