We are recruiting a Qualified Early Years Practitioner.

We are a diverse and unique setting providing childcare of the staff and students at the University. Our families are not just from Bristol but from further afield or abroad. Our children are multi-lingual and we support them in various ways, including a multilingual staff team. As a setting we focus on ensuring that children and families are settled and feel a sense of belonging in our nursery community.

We are a non-profit making charity with the money received from fees going straight to staff and children\''s resources. We have a strong management team and committee, with a drive for reflection and improvement. We strive for fun, care and laughter whilst providing wonderful opportunities for the children in our care. Located in the heart of the Clifton prescient BS2 8BW.

Our starting salary is:

£28,081pa starting salary increasing to £28,879pa after successful 6 months probation. (Level 3 qualified, Full-time, 40 hours per week between 8.30am and 5.30pm)

One half day per week and a rota given a week in advance.

We are a living wage employer and have annual pay reviews in April.

Excellent holiday entitlement (33 days) including standard 28 days holiday, an extra 3 days for Christmas closure, 2 additional University closure days and extra annual leave for long service.

We are looking for someone who will:

Provide the children with a safe, secure and home-like environment.

Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Operate a key person system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff.

Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group and each individual child\''s needs and interests.

Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.

You must:

Have a full and relevant level 2 or 3 Qualification minimum. Part-time hours available working 8.30-5.30pm for 3 or 4 days).
