About the Role ANZUK Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming early years setting in Portsmouth. The nursery is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play.
The successful Nursery Assistant will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting children''s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for young children
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Observe, monitor and record children''s progress and development
• Support children''s social, emotional and educational development
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
