Qualified Nursery AssistantLocation: Brighton and HoveStart Date: September 2026Contract: Full-Time, Term Time OnlySalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAcademics is recruiting a qualified Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive two-form entry primary school in Brighton and Hove from September 2026.This fantastic opportunity is based within the school''s on-site nursery provision, supporting children aged 2-3 years old during a crucial stage of their early development. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Early Years team to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.Key Responsibilities:Support the learning and development of children aged 2-3 years.Assist in delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Promote children''s social, emotional, physical, and communication development.Help maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.Support children''s personal care needs where required.Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.Contribute to observations, assessments, and learning records.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.Experience working with nursery-aged children, ideally within a school or nursery setting.A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.Excellent communication and teamwork ..... full job details .....
