Please ensure your CV includes all relevant qualifications, certifications, licences and technical skills including NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card, 2391, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS/SMSTS and any commercial installation experience to demonstrate your suitability for the position.

We are currently supporting a growing electrical and technology solutions business in their search for a qualified Electrician to join their Scottish operation.

This is a mobile role covering commercial and corporate customer sites across surrounding areas, with occasional wider travel depending on project requirements.

What the role is

A fully qualified Electrician position

Commercial electrical installation work

Mobile project-based role

Working with experienced Project Managers and Engineers

Installing systems within professional commercial environments

Predominantly two-person installation teams

Opportunity to support and mentor apprentices

Company vehicle and fuel provided

What the role isn''t

Not a static site role

Not a maintenance-only position

Not an Electrician''s Mate opportunity

Not an Improver position

Not domestic installation work

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and termination of electrical systems
• Installation of containment systems including conduit, tray, basket and trunking
• Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix installations
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
• Fault finding and testing
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations and company standards
• Working alongside site teams, Project Managers and Engineers
• Delivering quality workmanship across multiple client sites
• Occasional overnight stays where required

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS Gold Card
• Commercial installation experience
• Strong practical and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible approach to travel

Desirable

• 2391 Inspection & Testing
• IPAF
• PASMA
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Structured Cabling experience
• Integrated Technology or AV exposure
• Experience supporting apprentices
