Qualified Outreach Tutor - Maths and English (SEN Experience)Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and experienced Maths and English Tutor to provide 1:1 outreach tuition to pupils across Buckinghamshire who are currently not attending school. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified educator looking to deliver bespoke learning outside the traditional classroom setting. You will support young people with varying educational needs - including those with SEN, social, emotional or mental health challenges - helping them to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and make measurable academic progress.Responsibilities

Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in English and Maths (up to GCSE level)Plan engaging lessons that meet individual learning goalsSupport pupils with SEN and those who may have been out of education for extended periodsTrack and report on pupil progress in collaboration with Prospero''s education teamProvide a safe, structured, and supportive learning environmentRole Details

Type: Part-time (10-15 hours per week, flexible)Duration: Ongoing, dependent on individual student needsSession Length: Typically 1-3 hours per sessionStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: From £25 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)Location: BuckinghamshireSubjects: Maths and English (up to GCSE level)Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent)Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experienceProven experience supporting students with SENConfident delivering English and Maths up to GCSE levelEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Two recent, relevant referencesRight to work in the UKWhy Join Prospero Teaching?
