Qualified Electrician for Commercial Solar PV

Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join their team to assist with commercial solar PV installations. The successful candidate will work in a team of three on various projects, including warehousing and distribution units, with each project typically lasting around 10 days. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in electrical installations and be prepared to work away from home for 4 nights a week.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial solar PV systems at various sites across the UK
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report project progress to management.
• Engage in ongoing training and development as required.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Must hold a valid 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certificate.
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in installing solar PV systems/Commercial Projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and wiring configurations.
• Electrical Installation, Inspection and Testing qualifications such as City & Guilds 2391
• Driver''s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Working Conditions :

• Willingness to work away from home for 4 nights a week is expected you will make up a team of 3.
• Accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the company.
• Typical job duration per project is around 10 days.
