About the Company

Our client is a well-established, family-run electrical and mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, testing and compliance services across the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

The Role

This is a varied position involving electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding works across a wide range of environments, including: - domestic properties, schools, care homes, commercial premises, plant rooms etc.

• Covering Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works.
• Undertake inspection, testing and fault-finding of electrical systems.
• Complete EICRs and associated remedial works.
• Read and interpret construction and electrical drawings.
• Install galvanised and PVC containment systems.
• Work on lighting, power, distribution and control systems.

What We Are Looking For

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Desired - City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
• Strong testing, inspection and fault-finding experience
• Ability to read and work from technical and construction drawings
• Desired - experience working on boiler control systems and control panels
• Full UK Driving Licence

• -35,000 - -40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
• 7:30am - 4:00pm (40-hour week, with flexibility required)
