Qualified Audit Officer - Scotland (Hybrid) - 1-3 Month ContractOne of Lorien''s key public sector clients is looking for an experienced Qualified Auditor to join their team on an initial 1-3 month contract to support delivery across a range of audit engagements. THIS IS A IR35 CONTRACT PAYING MARKET RATESKey Responsibilities:Delivering complex financial, performance and best value audit work across public sector organisationsContributing to the planning, development and delivery of audits to agreed timelines and quality standardsConducting audit fieldwork, evidence gathering and data analysis using appropriate audit techniquesSummarising findings and identifying key themes to support audit judgements and outputsPresenting clear, evidence-based audit findings for reporting and stakeholder useBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information gatheringManaging multiple audit assignments simultaneously, ensuring delivery to cost, quality and time expectationsKey Skills andamp; Experience:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAS or equivalent)Strong experience delivering audit engagements, ideally within complex environmentsExperience conducting audit fieldwork, financial analysis and evidence gatheringStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear audit judgementsProficient in data analysis tools such as ExcelAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities ..... full job details .....
