This professional organisation is seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join them on an initial 15 month fixed term contract. This is a full time position working on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 from home) . Responsibilities Lead the preparation of the year end Statutory Accounts, with responsibility for managing the audit process with the external Auditors. Responsibility for the HMRC / Customs matters of the business, including VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE. Preparation of Quarterly Consolidated Accounts. Responsible for the management of the Treasury processes, including relevant reporting and forecasting. Preparation of monthly Management Accounts, with particular responsibility for the accounting of accruals and prepayments. Support the Financial Controller in the management and development of internal controls and processes. Assist with the preparation of the Annual Plan. Assistance and liaison with Accounts Payable position. Ad-hoc duties, including departmental cover during holidays and absences as required. Comply with with company regulations, policies and procedures. Any other duties as reasonably required by the Finance Director and business.
