Qualified Accountant - Client ManagerBarber McLelland is working in partnership with a leading Sheffield-based firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting an experienced practice accountant for the position of Client Manager.The firm supports a wide range of clients across the region, providing these clients with a full range of accounting, business advisory and taxation services.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside a highly experienced team of accountants and supporting a Director, the role of Client Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, duties will include:Responsible for a varied client portfolio of small to medium-sized owner-managed businessesPreparation of Statutory AccountsPreparation of Management AccountsSupervise and provide training and guidance for a select number of trainee accountantsReview work prepared by the accounts teamKey point of contact for clients for queries, support and year-end meetings (with Partner)Preparation of Management InformationPreparation of personal and corporate tax returnsProvide commercial business supportSkills and QualitiesThe successful candidate will ideally be qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 6 year''s experience working within a firm of accountants.
