Job Title: Maths and English Tutor Oldham Location: Oldham (in-school, home-based, or online sessions) Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour (minimum, may increase based on availability) Job Type: Part-Time Flexible Hours About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join our team in Oldham. This flexible, part-time role offers GBP30 per hour minimum, with the potential to increase based on your availability. You will work with students who have high Special Educational Needs (SEN), so a confident, empathetic approach to building relationships and managing challenging behaviours is essential. Sessions will be delivered during school hours and can take place in school, at the students home, or online. The role requires approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours depending on your availability and the students'' needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored Maths and English lessons to meet the individual needs of students. Support students with high SEN needs, helping them to overcome academic challenges and build confidence. Manage challenging behaviours using effective, supportive strategies. Track student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff. Create and implement personalised lesson plans, adjusting methods as required to support the student''s learning style.
