You will be a confident and engaging QSHE professional who is comfortable working within busy construction and engineering environments. You will have a pragmatic approach to safety management, balancing operational delivery with effective assurance.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence teams at all levels and promote a positive safety culture across multiple sites.

You will be organised, resilient and proactive, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and professional integrity.



Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)

  • IOSH Managing Safely (or higher)

  • Experience within construction, engineering or energy environments

  • Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation including CDM Regulations

  • Awareness or training relating to Temporary Works



Desirable Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)

  • ISO Lead or Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001)

  • Environmental qualification such as IEMA Certificate

  • First Aid at Work



Professional Membership

  • IOSH membership (TechIOSH or GradIOSH)



Working Pattern

This is a full-time, site-based role. Due to the nature of construction and engineering activities and the need for consistent QSHE oversight across multiple live projects, the role requires regular on-site presence and therefore is not suitable for part-time working.
