QHSE Technician

QHSE Technician-

Salary: -30,000 per annum
Hours: 38.5 hours per week

We are looking for a QHSE Technician with a strong eye for detail and practical experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work alongside the QHSE Lead and production team, supporting quality and safety requirements and ensuring products and processes meet the required standards. This role would suit someone confident working independently, who can manage their own workload and understands the importance of effective quality and production handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering 2D drawings.
• Carry out dimensional inspections using verniers, height gauges, micrometers and other measuring equipment.
• Support quality checks and inspection activities within the manufacturing process.
• Complete NCR documentation and inspection reports.
• Identify discrepancies and quality issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Work closely with production to support effective quality/production handover.
• Support QHSE activities and documentation.
• Plan and manage your own workload, taking ownership of tasks and actions.
• Work proactively and independently following an initial period of training and integration.

Essential:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering 2D drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, height gauges and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify differences or discrepancies.
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively.

Preferred:

• Experience within an engineering, metalwork, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with NCR documentation and inspection reporting.
• IOSH safety training.
• First Aid qualification or experience.
