Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support the QHSE & Sustainability Director in delivering QHSE & Sustainability targets and KPIs
Develop and improve project-related quality processes within the AE QMS
Act as a customer-focused representative supporting the business
Develop and deliver audit and improvement programmes
Produce and discharge Quality Inspection Test Plans (including for tenders)
Provide QHSE support and advice to projects
Participate in bid, project, and design reviews
Manage the non-conformance process to closure
Lead/support project improvement activities (e.g., Cost of Quality, audit findings, quality issues)
Conduct internal and supplier audits per ISO 9001:2015
Regularly report on project quality performance
Support the implementation and continuous development of the QMS
Perform inspections, witness testing, and liaise with suppliers
Expedite project activities to ensure timely fabrication deliveries
Oversee formal release of equipment and materials from suppliers
Complete audits per the company interval audit schedule
Compile reports, inspection forms, and release notes
Carry out technical duties as appropriate
Author or amend AE QMS procedures/documentation per relevant standards
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018
Support project control system development and execution
Provide operational support to Project Managers for plan and budget delivery
Other Specific Requirements
Monitor project performance regarding milestone achievement, invoicing, and customer responsiveness
Collaborate with cross-discipline teams for project delivery
Liaise with Supplier QA Representatives to resolve issues
Support bid/quotation preparation ensuring QHSE inclusion
Establish and maintain relationships with client QHSE reps and third-party suppliers
Ensure project documentation is properly controlled and authorized
Produce, manage, and report on QA activity schedules
Provide onsite project support (locally and globally) as needed
Assist in client visits and technical presentations
Support graduate rotation programme with a focus on QHSE & Sustainability
Represent QHSE & Sustainability function professionally
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
Abide by all statutory OH&S requirements
Implement and follow company OH&S procedures
Ensure projects conduct and review H&S risk assessments
Promote and communicate Health & Safety practices
Check equipment for condition and safe usage
Conduct HSE inspections and operational observations
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses; implement corrective actions
Comply with AE QHSE & ESG policies
General Responsibilities
Comply with all company policies including OH&S and HR
Undertake any reasonable duties as directed by Line Manager or Director Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
Preferred HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering
Recognised auditor qualification
Recognised OHSE qualification
Relevant offshore industry qualification/certification Experience
Minimum 5 years of project experience including major CapEx projects
Independent and team-based working experience
Proven successful client-facing interactions
Leading and facilitating meetings
Skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
