QHSE and Compliance Manager - Chemical ManufacturingReporting to the Head of Technical, you will lead all Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Chemical Compliance activities on site. This role is focused on ensuring full regulatory compliance while promoting a strong safety-first culture, supported by an existing team.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality and ComplianceManage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemEnsure product quality, traceability, and documentation controlLead audits (customer, supplier, certification)Investigate non-conformances and implement CAPASupport change management processes (MOC)Health and Safety / Process SafetyEnsure compliance with UK legislation (HSE Act, COSHH, DSEAR, COMAH)Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and safe systems of workOversee Permit-to-Work systems and contractor safetyLead incident and near-miss investigations using root cause analysisDeliver training, inductions, and toolbox talksAct as site lead for emergency response and business continuityEnvironmental and RegulatoryMaintain the Environmental Management SystemEnsure compliance with permits, waste, and emissions controlsMonitor environmental performance and drive improvementsEnsure compliance with REACH, CLP, and COSHH regulationsMaintain SDS and ensure correct classification, labelling, and storageLiaise with regulators (HSE, Environment Agency) and support inspectionsSupport new product introduction from a compliance perspectiveEssential ..... full job details .....
