My client a leading mining company in North Yorkshire are seeking a QC/QA Officer for their site. These roles are on shift patterns 8 on 6 off, 11 hour shifts (averages out at 44 hours per week). We are ideally seeking candidates with either a degree or Masters in Mining-or Civil Engineering, with QC/QA and Compliance experience on similar projects. The duties and responsibilities of a QC Officer will include but not be limited to: Maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment to various testing standards. Performing inspection and testing activities of incoming materials and finished products in accordance with company procedures to determine that they meet a certain standard. Perform an inspection of precision components and assemblies to customer drawings and specifications - visual inspection of products before and after operations are completed and detect any non-conformances or non-compliant parts.
