QC TechnicianTemporary initially but could lead to a permanent positionPay Rate - £13 p/h Hours - 8am-4pm or 9am-5pmAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a QC Technician to join a busy quality team within a packaging manufacturing environment. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and previous experience within a quality or manufacturing environmentis essential.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out quality control inspections, testing materials and finished products, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with company procedures and GMP standards.Key Responsibilities Carry out quality control checks on incoming materials and finished productsConfirm the identity and condition of incoming materialsSample and test incoming materials in line with raw material specificationsRecord and maintain accurate quality control documentation and test resultsEnsure all materials are correctly status-labelled and identifiedDisposition and status-label returned or non-conforming materialsSupport environmental monitoring activities and sample collection proceduresMaintain and update supplier and quality control databasesAssist with periodic material retesting where requiredWork closely with QA and production teams to ensure quality standards are maintainedIdentify and escalate quality concerns in line with company proceduresMaintain high levels of accuracy ..... full job details .....
