QC Technician
Jackson Hogg have partnered with a specialist design and manufacturing business in the Ashington area on a QC Technician role, reporting directly to the Quality Manager on site. QC Technician Responsibilities QC inspection Of incoming parts QC Inspection "in-process" for mechanical build, fabrication, welding, and testing activities Final inspection of completed work scopes prior to dispatch Containment actions for nonconforming products Root cause investigation on non-conforming product/process Participate in continuous improvement activities Assist In the compilation of quality metrics Maintain high housekeeping standards Ensure all company HSE requirements are complied with The QC Technician will drive quality performance and reduce internal and external quality escapes. Carry out quality inspections on incoming parts from suppliers, actioning appropriate containment and corrective actions where parts are incorrect to requirements. Carry out In-process inspections of items in build to ensure company and project requirements are adhered to. Carry out final inspections of completed work scopes to ensure all drawing, Internal and client specifications are achieved. Initiate appropriate containment and corrective actions as appropriate. Working with the wider quality team, the QC Technician will work to promote a quality culture throughout the business.
