QC Technician (Nights) – Temporary (Up to 16 Months) | Monday–Thursday, 10:00pm–8:00am | Salary: £32,990

At Hydrokem Aerosols, we’re looking for a QC Technician to join our night shift team on a temporary basis (up to 16 months). This is a great opportunity to play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance within a fast-paced production environment—while enjoying a long weekend every week.

The QC Technician Role

Working within the Quality Control function, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all raw materials and finished products meet required standards through inspection, testing, and accurate documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting incoming goods quality inspections
• Performing finished product quality control checks
• Carrying out chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates
• Ensuring all quality documentation (including Batch Manufacturing Records) is completed accurately and on time
• Reporting quality issues to Production and Quality Assurance teams
• Managing the segregation of non-conforming items and supporting corrective actions
• Calibrating, verifying, and monitoring laboratory measuring equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a QC laboratory within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of testing packaging, components, raw materials, and blend analysis
• Experience with in-line sampling of finished products
• Familiarity with producing Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance
• A meticulous, highly organised approach with strong attention to detail
