Mechanical QC Supervisor (Painting and Piping) Location: Point of Ayr, Talacre Contract: 12 Months (Outside IR35)Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will join a major decommissioning and carbon capture project. You will be responsible for supervising mechanical inspection activities and ensuring the effective implementation of Quality Control Plans across painting and piping scopes.Key Responsibilities: Review and implement Quality Control Plans relating to mechanical activities, supporting QC systems and processesEnsure availability, suitability, and correct use of inspection equipment and instrumentationOversee receipt, storage, preservation, calibration, handling, identification, and traceability of mechanical materials and equipmentReview vendor documentation including manuals, release notes, and certification records, ensuring full complianceSupervise inspection activities and verify reports, documentation, and quality record completionEnsure all inspections, tests, and controls are carried out in accordance with Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test PlansWitness subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with approved quality procedures and collecting relevant recordsEnsure all quality documentation is compiled, managed, and included within final As-Built dossiersMonitor NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processes and ensure effective resolution and close-outSupport preparation and handover of final quality documentation to ..... full job details .....
