QC Stability Lead (Senior QC Analyst )

About the Role

Smart4Sciences is working with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit a QC Stability Lead to join their Quality Control team in Hull.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QC Analyst / Pharmaceutical Analyst looking to take on a lead-level position. You will join a team of 8 analysts, providing technical and troubleshooting support across laboratory equipment, analytical methods and systems.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to the QC analytical team.
• Support troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, systems and analytical methods.
• Carry out pharmaceutical analysis in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Perform analytical testing using techniques including HPLC, GC and Karl Fischer.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other analysts within the team.
• Assist with analytical method troubleshooting where required.
• Ensure laboratory activities are carried out in accordance with GMP requirements and relevant procedures.
• Work closely with the Head of QC to support the effective technical operation of the laboratory.

• Strong experience within pharmaceutical QC/analytical testing.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC and Karl Fischer.
• Experience working within a GMP-accredited laboratory environment.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience troubleshooting laboratory equipment, systems and analytical methods.
• The confidence to provide technical guidance and support to other analysts.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to laboratory work.
