QC Microbiology Manager

QC Microbiology Manager SRG are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Manager to join a GMP manufacturing site in North Yorkshire. Overseeing Microbiological QC activities, in this role you will be responsible for all Microbiological testing activities, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across Environmental monitoring, utilities and laboratory systems. The Role As the QC Microbiology Manager, you will lead and develop the microbiology team, ensuring smooth day to day QC laboratory operations and efficient analysis to support product delivery. Key responsibilities will include:Leadership, coaching and development of the QC Microbiology teamTechnical oversight of analysis including water testing, (LAL/Membrane filtration), bioburden testing and environmental monitoring.Overseeing the investigation of OOS results, deviations and Microbiological excursions.Support process, product and cleaning validation activities.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the site and processes. Requirements BSc (Hons) in Microbiology or a related scientific disciplineProven leadership experience in a GMP QC microbiology laboratoryStrong working knowledge of EU, USP, and ISO microbiological standardsExperience with environmental monitoring, water testing, and bioburden testingConfident in leading, coaching, and developing a microbiology team.Confident communicator with sound problem-solving and data analysis skills Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien and SRG - The Impellam Group ..... full job details .....
