QC Microbiology Analyst

Talentmark are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Analyst to join a Pharmaceutical Services Company in Central Belt Scotland.

This is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours and is site based.


The Role:

You will undertake the tasks and analytical processes involved in method feasibility/development/validation, day to day analysis, data interpretation and documentation of samples for microbiology analysis.


Responsibilities:

• Undertake microbiology analysis and quantitative interpretation of any resultant data generated following defined protocols and procedures.
• Generate analytical reports and certificates of analysis for any data generated.
• Complete all assigned work to the appropriate level of science, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Present a professional manner at all times when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Carry out all work to the requested specifications and timescales.
• Ensure all work undertaken meets with the prescribed requirements of the-Quality System and the requirements of cGMP.

Your Background:

• Educated to degree level in Microbiology or a related field.
• Strong Microbiology laboratory skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience of Aseptic Technique and experience in a pharmaceutical industry laboratory
• Experience of working to cGMP.
• Knowledge of QPulse QMS would be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and documentation skills.
