QC Microbiologist Technologist

QC Microbiology Technologist (12-Month Contract) Location: Berkshire Sector: Biopharmaceuticals Overview We are supporting a leading biopharmaceutical organisation based in Berkshire in the search for a QC Microbiology Technologist on a 12-month contract. This role will play a key part in supporting product quality through microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Key Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing to support product qualifications, routine analysis, and environmental monitoring programmes Accurately record and document all results in accordance with GMP and cGMP requirements Review test data, identify any deviations or trends, and escalate concerns to QC Management where appropriate Maintain high laboratory standards, including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and inventory management Support the qualification of media, reagents, and microbiological methods Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted in line with relevant health and safety procedures Maintain up-to-date GMP training and complete all required training within designated timeframes Requirements Degree (BSc or equivalent) in a Life Sciences discipline or relevant industry experience Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques within a regulated environment Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) Ability to interpret data, identify anomalies, and communicate findings effectively Experience with routine ..... full job details .....
