QA/QC MandE Engineer Location: Blyth, North East England Sector: Data Centres / Mission-Critical Projects Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Living away allowance (Dependent on location) The Opportunity An established engineering and construction contractor specialising in large-scale, mission-critical projects is seeking an experienced QA/QC MandE Engineer to join its team on a major data centre development in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project, taking responsibility for quality assurance and quality control across mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring works are completed to the required standards and all documentation is in place for successful project handover. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures across mechanical and electrical installations throughout the project lifecycle. Carry out quality inspections to ensure installations comply with project specifications, drawings and relevant industry standards. Monitor installation quality, identify defects and manage the close-out process. Oversee and verify testing activities to ensure works are completed correctly and in line with project requirements. Prepare, review and maintain inspection and test plans, handover documentation and operation and maintenance manuals. Compile and issue final quality and handover documentation to the client.
