QA - Toys

A fast-growing global toy company creating sensory and novelty toys, are looking for a highly organised and detail focused QA professional to join their quality team and help ensure that every product meets our high standards for safety, quality, performance and regulatory compliance. Working closely with UK design, buying and project teams and manufacturing partners in the Far East, you will play an important role in taking products from concept through to production and delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage quality assurance activities throughout the product development and manufacturing process. Review product specifications, samples, artwork, packaging and technical documentation. Ensure products comply with applicable UK, EU, US and international toy safety requirements. Coordinate product testing with approved third-party laboratories. Review test reports, certificates and technical documentation and identify any compliance gaps. Work closely with factories and suppliers to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. Conduct or coordinate pre-production, inline and final inspections. Identify product defects and work with suppliers to establish root causes and corrective actions. Monitor corrective and preventive actions through to successful closure. Review materials, components, colours, finishes and construction to ensure they meet approved specifications. Support risk assessments and product safety reviews.
