QA TechnicianPlymouthImmediate Start - Contract until February 2027Competitive Hourly Rate - 13.17phAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Temporary QA Technician / QA Auditor to support the Technical team at a leading food manufacturing site in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take on a hands-on role within a fast-paced factory environment.The position is predominantly factory-floor based, where you will play a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine QA checks across the production processCarry out GMP audits and pre-start checksPerform label and CCP/quality checksSupport product traceability processesComplete hygiene verification activitiesRaise and manage non-conformance reportsProvide general support to the Technical team to ensure complianceAbout YouTo be successful, you will bring:Previous experience in food manufacturing quality assuranceStrong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and allergen controlsExperience working in chilled food, cooked meat, poultry, high-care or high-risk environments (desirable)Confidence to challenge non-compliance and drive standards on the factory floorExcellent attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skillsReliability and a clear plan for commuting to the Plymouth siteWhat''s on OfferImmediate start with a long-term temporary assignment (until February 2027)Opportunity to work with an established food ..... full job details .....
