QA Team Leader Food ManufacturingIlminster, SomersetCirca £34,000 Monday Friday, 8am 5pmReady to take the next step in Quality Assurance?We re looking for a proactive QA Team Leader to join our Technical team at our food manufacturing site near Ilminster.If you have food manufacturing experience, a keen eye for detail and a passion for product quality and food safety, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact.Working closely with Production and Technical colleagues, you ll help maintain high standards, support audit compliance and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.What you ll be doing Ensuring products meet quality specifications and food safety standards.Investigating out-of-specification products and supporting corrective actions.Coordinating GMP audits and supporting internal and external audits.Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.Supporting the day-to-day running of the QA team, including absence and holiday cover.Working collaboratively with Production to maintain quality and operational efficiency. What we re looking for Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.A flexible, organised approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.Team leadership experience is desirable.Food Safety, HACCP or Internal Auditing qualifications are an advantage.
