Job Title: QA Manager
Project: High-Rise Recladding Project
Location: Central Ipswich
We are recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a major high-rise recladding project in Central Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a flagship remediation scheme, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the final stages of the project and supporting a successful handover to the client.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all quality assurance processes, coordinating inspections, overseeing project documentation, and ensuring the works are completed in line with specifications, regulations, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Site Manager to drive the project through to successful completion and handover.
- Manage and implement the project''s Quality Assurance procedures.
- Carry out regular quality inspections and audits across all aspects of the recladding works.
- Coordinate inspections with subcontractors, consultants, and the client team.
- Review completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage snagging, de-snagging, and close-out processes.
- Maintain comprehensive QA records, inspection reports, and handover documentation.
- Ensure all O&M manuals, warranties, certification, and as-built information are completed and submitted.
- Monitor subcontractor quality and ensure any defects are rectified promptly.
- Assist with client demonstrations, witness testing, and final inspections.
- Support the delivery team in achieving programme milestones while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a QA Manager, Quality Manager, Finishing Manager, or Senior Site Manager with a strong QA focus.
- Experience delivering high-rise residential or fa-ade/recladding projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience managing handover documentation and practical completion processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- CSCS Card required.
- SMSTS and First Aid are desirable
