QA Lead – Precast Concrete

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer in the Midlands. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of quality processes, drive best practice, and ensure compliance across a busy production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA function within the precast concrete division, ensuring all products meet required standards and specifications

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation

• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of precast elements to maintain compliance with industry regulations and client requirements

• Work closely with production, design, and site teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions

• Train and mentor staff in quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives

• Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a QA / QC role within precast concrete, construction, or civil engineering

• Strong knowledge of precast production processes, materials, and relevant standards

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

• Relevant qualifications in quality management or construction (advantageous)
