Qa Engineer

About this Position: We are currently recruiting for a QA Engineer to support an ongoing industrial project. This is a long-term contract role offering consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and weekend work on a rotational basis. The role will be site-based, overseeing the quality and compliance of electrical installation works within an industrial environment. Job Responsibilities: Overseeing and inspecting electrical installation works to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards Reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, specifications and installation documentation Carrying out quality inspections and checks throughout the installation process Ensuring electrical installations are completed in line with relevant BS7671 requirements and project standards Reviewing and verifying Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation Checking electrical testing and inspection records, including test certificates Identifying, recording and managing snags, defects and non-conformances Working closely with electricians, supervisors, engineers and project management to resolve quality issues Maintaining accurate QA/QC records and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly Supporting the handover process by ensuring installations are fully inspected, tested and documented Ensuring all works are completed in line with site health and safety procedures Working 10-hour days, with overtime available and every other weekend worked Experience ..... full job details .....
