Salary: TBC dependent on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break

Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Maternity Cover

Our client is seeking an experienced QA Team Leader to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating a team of 6–7 OQC team members, ensuring resources are effectively planned and allocated to meet customer requirements while maintaining high quality standards.

As the QA Team Leader, your duties will include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of 6–7 OQC team members.
• Planning and organising team resources and allocating duties.
• Ensuring adequate equipment and documentation are available.
• Monitoring and reporting team output.
• Reviewing and reporting product inventory and WIP status daily.
• Packing and labelling products for shipment.
• Supporting OQC and IQC activities where required.
• Printing job/works orders and relevant documentation.
• Supporting the effective day-to-day running of the quality department.

An ideal candidate for the QA Team Leader role will have:

• Previous supervisory or team leading experience.
• Previous experience within quality control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
