Quality Assurance Analyst London Hybrid £450 p/d Inside IR35 Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join a global organisation operating within a complex, technology-driven environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring improvements to a critical Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) platform are reliable, accurate and fit for business use. Working as part of an Agile Scrum team, you''ll combine hands-on manual testing with test automation, ideally using Cypress, and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle - from reviewing requirements and acceptance criteria through to regression testing, release assurance and continuous improvement. Role and Responsibilities: Review user stories, business requirements, technical designs and acceptance criteria to identify test conditions, dependencies and risks. Create, maintain and execute test cases covering functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing. Test CTRM workflows and related business processes, including calculations, data and controls. Design, develop and maintain automated tests, ideally using Cypress. Identify suitable opportunities for automation while balancing automated, manual and exploratory testing. Record test evidence and clearly communicate defects, risks and test outcomes.
