AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Python Developer for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol)

You''ll be responsible for designing and developing Python-based solutions while working closely with client teams across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications using clean, scalable, and reusable code.
• Build RESTful APIs with FastAPI, including API endpoints, request/response validation, authentication, and error handling.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for retrieving, updating, and managing data efficiently.
• Integrate APIs with databases using Python database libraries or ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications, identifying and resolving performance, functionality, and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements, implement features, review code, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong Python development experience.
• FAST API Experience
• SQL Experience
• JavaScript Experience (Desirable)
• Comfortable working in a consulting environment.
