      <description>Location: City of London | Salary: &amp;pound;700 - &amp;pound;900/day Inside IR35 (Negotiable rate) | Type: Contract | Python Data Engineer  3-6 Months initial contract  London/Hybrid - 1-2 days per week on site  -Negotiable rate (Inside IR35)     We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team, building and enhancing centralised data services used by quantitative researchers, traders and front-office teams.  ***The ideal candidate will have experience in Hedge funds, Asset management or Investment banks***  ***As well as a good understanding of Quant engineering/Quant data groups, Fixed income, rates, FX, macro, trading or pricing environments***   This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, developing and maintaining scalable data platforms, pipelines and services that deliver high-quality, validated investment data.
