The High Net Worth (HNW) practice within PwC Private supports HNW individuals and prominent families with tax and advisory needs, including cross-border tax issues involving US and Canadian assets and estate planning.Role Responsibilities:Navigate complex cross-border engagements and diverse teamsDesign and implement personalized service plans for private entities and high-net-worth individualsFocus on wealth management, compliance, equity expansion, divestiture, exit strategies, and intergenerational wealth transfersEngage in coaching conversations at all levelsBalance strategic thinking with attention to detailDevelop expertise in Canadian and US tax rules and legislationFoster an environment where people and technology collaborate effectivelyEncourage open communication and trust-building with teams and clientsUphold ethical standards and business conductQualifications and Skills:Master''s degree in Tax, CPA or equivalent, TEP designation or pursuit of theseExperience in public accounting, law firms, or handling complex cross-border tax planning for high-net-worth clientsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skillsStrong analytical and business skills with a reputation for client service excellenceAbility to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staffResearch skills, organizational ability, proactive attitudePwC Canada promotes an inclusive, hybrid work environment.
