Purchasing ManagerLocation: Wimbledon Salary: 42,000 - 50,000 Hours: Full-time, PermanentThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a successful and growing consumer goods business based in Wimbledon. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement purchasing and procurement strategies aligned with business goals.Build, manage, and develop strong supplier relationships across domestic and international markets.Oversee inventory planning to ensure stock availability while maintaining cost efficiency.Manage purchasing budgets and support cost-saving initiatives.Work closely with product development teams to support new product launches and ongoing product innovation.Ensure import/export compliance and maintain supplier documentation.Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and quality standards.Collaborate with finance, logistics, and commercial teams to support business growth.Produce purchasing reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.Lead, mentor, and develop members of the purchasing team.Requirements:Previous experience in a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer, or similar role.Proven experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.Experience within consumer goods, retail, FMCG, health and beauty, fashion, or a related industry would be highly advantageous.Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing teams.Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ..... full job details .....
