Purchasing Manager - Direct Procurement

The Role

A great opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead direct purchasing across two sites. You''ll oversee materials teams, strengthen supplier performance, and drive cost and process improvements that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop site-based materials teams
• Improve procurement processes and ensure consistency
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and negotiations
• Identify and deliver cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
• Support stock management and new product introduction
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations and sales

• Proven experience in procurement, ideally within manufacturing
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Confident working with stakeholders at all levels
• Analytical, proactive, and results-driven
• Experience leading or mentoring teams

• MCIPS (or working towards) or equivalent experience
