This is a pivotal hire, responsible for leading procurement, stock planning, and buying activity across a large and fast-moving product portfolio. You''ll play a key role in shifting the function from reactive purchasing to a more structured, data-driven and commercially aligned approach. You''ll sit at the centre of the business, working closely with Sales, Finance, Vendor Management and Operations to ensure product availability, cost control, and strong supplier performance. Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement and Supply Chain LeadershipLead the procurement function, covering purchasing, stock planning and replenishmentTranslate sales demand and vendor plans into effective buying decisionsDrive cost efficiency, working capital optimisation, and supplier performanceIntroduce structure and governance across purchasing processes Demand Planning and InventoryDevelop and embed forecasting processes across vendors, categories, and customersAlign stock levels to demand, minimising aged stock and stockoutsMonitor trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly Supplier and Vendor ManagementManage distributor relationships, focusing on pricing, delivery and rebatesSupport vendor reviews with ..... full job details .....
