Responsible for ensuring an effective supply chain capable of supporting manufacturing requirements while maintaining strong supplier relationships and commercial performance. Lead and manage the Purchasing, Stores and Yard functions, including team performance, resource planning, objectives and KPIs. Develop and maintain a robust supplier base, managing relationships across cost, quality, service and delivery . Negotiate purchasing prices and commercial terms with suppliers, identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved margins. Oversee purchasing activity and ensure materials, specialist products and stock requirements are ordered accurately and within required timescales.
