Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and strategic Purchasing Manager to join our team, and oversee our procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a good commercial mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse purchasing data, inventory levels, and market trends to forecast future needsManage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation in compliance with company policiesCollaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in purchasing operationsDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectivesSource, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing, terms, and qualityMaintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuous supply and resolve any issues regarding quality, delivery, or costTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement and report on cost savings and supplier performanceIdentify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigationAbout you
