About the Role We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Shipley. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting purchasing and procurement activities within a manufacturing and engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and be comfortable working closely with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Raising and processing purchase orders Liaising with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and deliveries Supporting purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment Maintaining accurate records and purchasing documentation Assisting with stock control and order tracking Resolving delivery and invoice queries Providing general administrative support to the purchasing and engineering teams Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in manufacturing/administration is essential Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator, both written and verbal Comfortable using Microsoft Office and purchasing systems Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer Subsidised Canteen Stable, full-time office-based role Friendly and supportive working environment Early finish on Fridays Opportunity to work within an established manufacturing business ..... full job details .....
