We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant within our Fluid Power team based in Halesowen. 


About the role:

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will support the procurement function by managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, monitoring deliveries, maintaining accurate purchasing data, and helping to ensure the timely supply of materials to support operational and customer requirements.
 
Success in the role will be measured through KPIs including purchase order accuracy, on-time supplier delivery performance, stock availability, supplier response times, cost-saving initiatives, and the timely resolution of purchasing and supply chain issues.


What we’re looking for in our Purchasing Assistant:

•    Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
•    Strong organisational and time management skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
