This role is pivotal in supporting global supply chain operations and ensuring a world-class approach to purchasing, materials flow, and internal logistics.This is a key leadership position offering the chance to shape a global supply base, influence strategic purchasing decisions, and drive continuous improvement across purchasing, stores and stock control.About the RoleThis position is responsible for both Purchasing Management and Stores and Internal Logistics, ensuring seamless end-to-end material flow, supplier performance, and stock optimisation.Purchasing LeadershipYou will lead the purchasing function on site, ensuring a stable, ethical, and high-performing supplier base. Key areas include:Developing, managing and coaching a dedicated purchasing teamDriving supplier development and world-class logistics performanceImplementing secure, efficient purchasing strategies aligned with business needsManaging cost control, contract negotiations and strategic sourcing activitiesStores and Internal LogisticsYou will oversee all internal materials movement, stock control and logistics operations, ensuring processes support production demands.
