- Oversee the utilisation of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement, inventory management, and logistics tracking.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Organise logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels within ERP platforms.
- Lead a team of procurement and logistics staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements in supply chain management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is essential.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory control, transportation, and warehousing.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish beneficial vendor agreements.
- Organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain management or logistics are preferred but not essential.
