An established manufacturing company based in Aston requires a purchasing administrator.
Duties:
- Chase suppliers via phone and email with a view of satisfying catalogue requirements.
- Update delivery information obtained in ERP System / spreadsheets.
- Manage the placement of Purchase orders through interpretation of stock and demand.
- Source alternative products to satisfy requirements.
- Check all order acknowledgements.
- Look to implement ways of improving supplier performance
- General administration duties as required.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills specifically Excel.
- Experience with MRP/ERP within a purchasing environment.
- General administration experience.
Hours:
- 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm Friday. (39 hrs/wk 30 min lunch)
This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
