Purchasing Administrator

An established manufacturing company based in Aston requires a purchasing administrator.

Duties:

  • Chase suppliers via phone and email with a view of satisfying catalogue requirements.
  • Update delivery information obtained in ERP System / spreadsheets.
  • Manage the placement of Purchase orders through interpretation of stock and demand.
  • Source alternative products to satisfy requirements.
  • Check all order acknowledgements.
  • Look to implement ways of improving supplier performance
  • General administration duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills specifically Excel.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP within a purchasing environment.
  • General administration experience.

Hours:

  • 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm Friday. (39 hrs/wk 30 min lunch)

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
