Purchasing Administrator

Purchasing Administrator Chase Taylor are working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company within the window and door industry, who are looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join their team. Fenestration experience is REQUIRED for this role. Due to the technical nature of the position, candidates must have previous experience working within the window and door industry in a purchasing or administration role. Previous window designer experience is also required. If you do not have previous experience within the fenestration industry, your application will be rejected due to the specialist nature of the role. The Role Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will support the purchasing function and ensure the correct materials and components are available to meet production requirements. The role will involve purchasing a range of products used in the manufacture of windows and doors, including hardware, profiles and associated fenestration components. You will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders are placed accurately and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Purchasing hardware, profiles and other window and door components. Raising purchase orders, obtaining prices and checking supplier quotations. Liaising with suppliers and monitoring orders, deliveries and stock requirements.
