Purchasing administrator
The Purchasing Administrator will be an integral part of the procurement team, helping to ensure materials and services are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner to support production needs.This role is ideal for a well-organised, proactive individual with strong communication skills and an interest in supply chain or logistics. You will play a key part in keeping production on schedule by coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.Salary 27,000 - 29,000Monday - Friday Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking goodsMaintain accurate records and process purchase orders using internal systemsSupport negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersWork closely with production, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth supply chain operationsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsEnsure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and industry standards Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a purchasing, accounts, or administrative role (manufacturing or logistics environment preferred)Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination is advantageousStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesA proactive and detail-focused approach Benefits25 days holiday + Bank holidayCompany pensionHealth and wellbeing programmeOn-site gymOn-site ..... full job details .....
